Silicon Valley played host to Killeen at the friendly confines of San Jose Municipal Stadium.

The Silicon Valley Hackers topped the Killeen Black Knights, 8-5, in Alexander Cartwright League action at San Jose Municipal Stadium. The player of the game was Silicon Valley shortstop Yodo Tashima. Samuel Keeble, credited with the win, is now 7-2. He allowed 5 runs on 6 hits in 6.1 innings. Jesús Cruz earned the save for Silicon Valley, his 9th of the year.

In the bottom of the second, Juan Moreno hit a 2-run double for Silicon Valley. The 4th double of the season for the Silicon Valley third baseman put the Hackers on top, 2-0.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Silicon Valley manager Bob Miller.

The Hackers now own a record of 29-24.
