Wolves Deal Trojans 6-1 Setback
|
Lake of the Isles used a superb performance from starting pitcher Toin Hara to down the Sioux Falls Trojans, 6-1. Today's win puts Lake of the Isles at 21-27, while Sioux Falls falls to 26-22.
A crucial at-bat came with the bases loaded and one out in the top of the fifth inning. That's when first baseman Domingo Gonzáles hit a sacrifice fly. The Wolves went on to win.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Lake of the Isles manager Brad Johnson.
