The exploits of shortstop Donald Hagar helped the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats defeat the Sioux Falls Trojans, 5-2. Hagar went 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The winner was Buzzard's Bay reliever Javier Hernández, now 3-1. The loser was Tokutomi Nishida. At 28-18, the Beetlecats are currently second in the Alexander Cartwright League Bernie Brewer Division.
Avery McNeil aided the Buzzard's Bay cause with a 2-run single in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the catcher was 2-3 with a double. He drove in 2 runs.
