Riverside first baseman Lorenzo Castillo had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 6-5, to Pacifica at McCormick Field. Castillo went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Pacifica is now riding a 3-game win streak.

Cancu Moorthy was the walk-off hero for Pacifica. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Pacifica pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Moorthy said in his postgame press conference.
