Rams Need Extra Frames to Get Past Goers
Anamol Magesh helped his team muscle past the Temple Goers, 7-5. In the game, the Frisco right fielder went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Frisco reliever Onel Lindo was credited with the win, to go to 1-2. Hervé Lacombe took the loss for Temple. The save went to Bryan Billings, his 4th this season.

The game was at a stalemate until second baseman Ramón Castillo came to bat in the top of the tenth. Facing Temple pitcher Hervé Lacombe, he hit a 1-2 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Frisco on top, 4-3.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Frisco manager Enrique Ramírez.

Frisco is now 28-19, while Temple is 21-25.
