It was a good time at Bloomfield Road, where fans came to watch the Frisco Rams and Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats get after it.
The Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats pounded the Frisco Rams, 14-0, at Bloomfield Road. Buzzard's Bay first baseman Edgar Téllez was named player of the game for his performance. He hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. Jorge Rodríguez earned the win to go to 4-4. He allowed no earned runs on 2 hits, with 2 walks and 12 strikeouts.
Téllez in the bottom of the second had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 2nd and the Beetlecats leading 5-0, he hit a 3-run home run.
"You can't sugarcoat this one," said Frisco manager Enrique Ramírez. "We got the snot knocked out of us."
The Beetlecats have an impressive 26-14 record.
