In a tight contest at Outlander Park, the Sioux Falls Trojans edged the Frisco Rams by the score of 5-4. Sioux Falls center fielder Yachi Ichihara, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. The third-place Trojans have won 5 straight games.

The game was at a stalemate until pinch hitter Raúl Nazur came to bat in the top of the eighth. Facing Frisco pitcher Onel Lindo, he hit a 1-2 curveball for a run-scoring double. It was a game-changer, putting Sioux Falls on top, 5-4.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Frisco manager Enrique Ramírez.
