Frisco beat West Coast at North Shore Park, eking out a 5-4 win. The win was due in large part to third baseman Mitsuhide Rin, who earned player of the game honors. Eiichi Ikeda earned the win to go to 4-1. He allowed 2 earned runs on 6 hits, with 3 walks and 4 strikeouts. Bob Doss picked up the save, his 2nd.

Rin had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the second inning, when he hit a run-scoring single. The Rams went on to win.

"Enjoyed this one," Rin told the Frisco Daily News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."

The Rams, now 21-10, have been on a roll in the early going.
