The Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats topped the Lake of the Isles Wolves, 8-5, with youngster Pedro García playing a key role. García went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Beetlecats in the win. Hidekazu Komatsu picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-1. Bill Lacy was tagged with the loss. Buzzard's Bay goes to 21-8 with the win.

Junzo Sato was the walk-off hero for Buzzard's Bay. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Buzzard's Bay shortstop hit a dramatic 3-run home run to send the teams home.
