Sasaki Stars for Enforcers in 15-7 Win
The 2028 season is getting ugly for Newark.

A 7-RBI performance from the 22-year old catcher Mitsuo Sasaki helped the Atlantic City Enforcers beat the Newark Jail Birds, 15-7. Atlantic City reliever Masami Matsushita picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-0. Nobukazu Nakamura was collared with the loss.

Sasaki had a clutch at-bat in the bottom of the sixth for the Enforcers. Coming up with the bases loaded and Atlantic City trailing 5-4, he hit a grand slam.

Sasaki said afterward that "winning is what it's all about."

The Enforcers, with only their 8th win in 30 games, could be the worst team in the league.
