Black Knights Lose Again, 7-2
|
Buzzard's Bay rode a decent outing from starter Roberto Valentín to victory over the Killeen Black Knights at Bloomfield Road. The final score was 7-2. Buzzard's Bay, now 19-7, has played well in the early going.
Jim Banks aided the Buzzard's Bay cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the third. For the game, the first baseman went 1-3 with a walk and was hit by a pitch.
"I thought we played a nice game," Banks told the Buzzard's Bay Today. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
