Buzzard's Bay shortstop Ichiyo Yano had a 4-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Killeen Black Knights, 8-3. Buzzard's Bay starter José Barrachina was credited with the win after throwing 96 pitches over 6.1 innings. His record now stands at 4-0. Emmanuel Even recorded his 1st save for Buzzard's Bay.

One important at-bat for Buzzard's Bay came with no one out in the bottom of the fourth inning. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Yano hit a 3-run home run, which contributed to the Beetlecats win.
