The Frisco Rams beat the Jacksonville Hellcats, 13-6, at Hellcats Park. The Rams got a fine performance from designated hitter Pete Rowland, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Frisco reliever Marcos González picked up the win, upping his record to 4-0. Josh Richard absorbed the loss. The Rams, now 17-9, have been red hot.

Sang-soo Kim's at-bat in the top of the seventh inning was a big one for Frisco. Coming to bat with two out, the bases loaded and Frisco leading 7-6, the third baseman drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Frisco manager Enrique Ramírez.
