Tashima Helps Hackers Run Win Streak to 3
|
Silicon Valley second baseman Yodo Tashima played a vital role in his team's 11-5 triumph over Jacksonville. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for Silicon Valley. The Hackers, now 16-5, have hit the ground running this season.
It could have been a different outcome for Silicon Valley, had it not been for Juan Moreno, the 27-year old second baseman . Moreno contributed a 2-run single in the top of the third inning to put Silicon Valley up, 7-4.
"I just try to bring what I bring to this team," said Tashima.
