Hellcats Park was the site of a tense game between the Jacksonville Hellcats and Sioux Falls Trojans.

Getting an impressive start from Tony Nájera, Sioux Falls beat Jacksonville by the score of 3-2. Bing-de Ku got credit for the save for Sioux Falls. It was his 2nd of the year.

Sioux Falls designated hitter Tsumemasa Sakamoto changed the game in the top of the seventh when he belted a 2-run home run off Jeff Hodge. His 3rd home run of the season gave Sioux Falls a 3-2 lead.

"We did enough to win," said Sakamoto.

The Hellcats fall to 7-11 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2028 season.
