Hellcats Pin 5-3 Loss on Trojans

Hellcats Park was the site of a competitive game between the Sioux Falls Trojans and Jacksonville Hellcats.
Jacksonville designated hitter Motoki Hayakawa was a significant contributor in his team's 5-3 triumph over the Sioux Falls Trojans. He went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for Jacksonville. Noriaki Ine closed the game out for Jacksonville, earning his 3rd save.
The Hellcats took the lead, 5-2, in the bottom of the sixth. Hayakawa had the clutch at-bat. With two out and the bases loaded, he hit a grand slam.
"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Hayakawa.
The Trojans fall to 7-9 and continue their uneven start to the 2028 season.
