Late Rally by Hackers Seals 4th Straight Win
|
The Silicon Valley Hackers grabbed a 7-4 win over the Lake of the Isles Wolves at San Jose Municipal Stadium. Silicon Valley catcher Reece Wager was 2 for 3 with a home run to earn player of the game honors. Silicon Valley, at 13-4, has sizzled in the early going.
The game hit a turning point in the bottom of the fourth inning, when the Hackers were trailing 2-1. Takafumi Ueno delivered a two-out 2-run single for Silicon Valley, catapulting his team into the lead.
"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play ever better," said Silicon Valley manager Bob Miller.
