Suzuki goes 3-for-4, Red Bulls Move to 10-6
|
Another game, another loss for the struggling Atlantic City Enforcers.
The Riverside Red Bulls topped the Atlantic City Enforcers, 9-6, with youngster Tatsuzo Suzuki playing a key role. Suzuki was 3 for 4 with 2 triples and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Red Bulls in the win. Ryunosuke Chikafuji got the win, improving to 2-0. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 2 hits and 1 run, while striking out 8 and walking 3. Ahilocana Keyush picked up the save for Riverside, his 3rd of the year.
Also making an impact was right fielder Ken Prince, who drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning for the Red Bulls. For the game, Prince went 1-5 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
"We're in a funk right now," said Atlantic City skipper Warren Barnes.
Atlantic City, at 3-13, has had a dismal start to the season.
