Rams Get Win, Extend Streak to 5
|
The exploits of left fielder Pete Rowland, who is tied for 2nd in the ACL in bases on balls with 19, helped the Frisco Rams defeat the Wisconsin Dells Ducks, 7-2. Rowland was 1-2 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Onel Lindo, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save. The win takes Frisco to 9-7.
In the bottom of the 1st, Frisco took the lead on a 2-run double by Matt Lewis. At the time, the Rams were trailing 1-0, but Lewis's hit with two outs against Wisconsin Dells pitcher Jim Unknown put them in front, 2-1.
"I like how we're playing right now," said Rowland.
