Shamrocks Fall to Trojans, 9-1
|
Sioux Falls Trojans starter Alain Picard had all his pitches working at Trojans Park. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 9-1 Sioux Falls win over the Pacifica Shamrocks. Losses have been few and far between for the Shamrocks so far this season. Their record drops to 10-5.
Takeji Kudo played a key role in the win. The Sioux Falls second baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, Kudo went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2.
"We did more than enough to get the win," said Kudo.
