It was a good time at The Brew Stade, where fans came to watch the Dallas Texans and San Diego Hops get after it.

San Diego Hops starter Kendrick Dobson was in fine form against the Dallas Texans at The Brew Stade, leading his team to a 5-2 win. The Hops have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 10th win in 29 games.

Also having an impact was center fielder Xavier Encarnación, who stroked a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth for San Diego. For the game, Encarnación was 1-3.

"It's a long season," said Encarnación. "We'll keep working to improve."
