Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats starter Arata Shimizu turned in a sterling performance against the Temple Goers, leading his team to a slim 3-2 win. The losses continue to mount for Temple, which has now dropped 7 in a row.
Felipe Guerrero helped out the Buzzard's Bay cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the designated hitter was 1-3 with a double and a walk.
"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Buzzard's Bay manager Roberto Núñez.
