The Mile High Mustangs put together a convincing win at Lucky 7 Ballpark, defeating the Quebec Armada, 11-2. Daniel Vázquez was one of the hitting stars. He was 3-4 with 3 singles and 2 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for Mile High. Even with the win, it has been a disastrous start to the year for the Mustangs, who once had aspirations of returning to the playoffs but now find themselves mired in last place at 9-18.

Chipping in for Mile High was designated hitter Nakamaro Sato. He stroked a 2-run double in the top of the fifth. For the game, Sato went 3-5 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

Quebec manager Neal Jackson called the blowout loss "a real stinker."
