Wolves Topple Ducks, 7-1

In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.
Lake of the Isles used a superb performance from starting pitcher Bruce Brown to down the Wisconsin Dells Ducks, 7-1. Brown got the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 4 hits and walked 3 over 5.1 innings. Brown allowed 1 earned run.
Hoffman Baal contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With the bases loaded, he hit a run-scoring single. It was one at-bat that propelled Lake of the Isles to the win.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Brown.
Losses have been rare for the Ducks, who are now 5-1.
