Conditions were not ideal but Wisconsin Dells and Lake of the Isles were able to put their game in the books.

Lake of the Isles had no answer for Wisconsin Dells Ducks starter Suezo Katayama, who flummoxed Wolves hitters as the Ducks cruised to a 6-1 victory. In 7.1 innings, Katayama surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run.

In the top of the 2nd, the Ducks grabbed the lead when Toshikazu Sato rapped a two-out single. Wisconsin Dells was trailing 1-0, when Sato hit a 2-run single off Shojiro Nakayama to put his team in front, 2-1.

"The vibe's good," said Wisconsin Dells manager Bobby Edwards. "We've got to keep it going."

With their winning streak at 4, the Ducks have raced to a strong start this season.
