Ducks Get Past Killeen for 4-3 Win
|
The Wisconsin Dells Ducks turned back the Killeen Black Knights, 4-3, at The Pond. Cipriano Rojas was named player of the game for his fine performance. He was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The Ducks, now 2-0, have been on a roll in the early going.
In the bottom of the ninth, with one out and the game tied, 3-3, left fielder Jayin Sita won it for Wisconsin Dells. With runners on 1st and 3rd, Sita hit a 2-2 cutter from Chang-wei Zhou for a run-scoring triple, giving his team a 4-3 win.
Sita said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."
