Minneapolis Freeze starter Sylvester Richardson pitched a strong game against the Vancouver Canadians at Stanley Park, leading the Freeze to a 5-3 win. Ronaldo Pérez got the save, the 8th for him this season. Minneapolis is now 53-63. Vancouver is 65-51.

Minneapolis first baseman Shimpei Fujita contributed to the cause with a double in the top of the fifth. For the game, Fujita did the little things right to help the team.

Richardson told a Minneapolis News reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
