Raiders Take 10-1 Pounding
The Reno Raiders took it on the chin, losing 10-1 to the Detroit Death Stars. Giobbe Tadiotto, who is tied for 6th in the BCL with a 10.1 K/9 rate, pitched a strong game for Detroit. At 69-46, the Death Stars find themselves in first place in the Blake Camden League Youppi Division.

Tsurayuki Hasegawa took Jim Unknown deep in the bottom of the fourth. His grand slam home run put the Death Stars in front, 4-0. For the game, Hasegawa went 1-3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4.

"I thought we played a nice game," Hasegawa told the Detroit News. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
