Pérez hits 2 home runs, Leads Bumblebees to Win
The Pasadena Bumblebees beat the Omaha Raptors, 19-5, at Anchorage Municipal Stadium. The Bumblebees got a fine performance from left fielder Pedro Pérez, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2-2 with 2 home runs and 4 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. With the win, the Bumblebees improved to 66-45.

Pérez contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Pasadena in the top of the second. With his team trailing 3-1, Pérez took a curveball from Jon Shipway and stroked the home run to left. His 5th home run of the season allowed the Bumblebees to leap in front, 4-3.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Pérez said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
