Riding the 3-hit performance of the 26-year old center fielder Eric Humphrey, the Chicago Titans stopped the Omaha Raptors, 10-1. Pancho Cortéz, the winner, improved to 8-7. He held the Raptors to 1 runs on 5 hits over 7.2 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 2. The Titans raised their record to 50-56.

Humphrey had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the third inning, when he hit a run-scoring double. The Titans went on to win.

"We didn't put up much resistance," said losing manager António Chávez.
