Bombers Get 3-1 Win Versus Minneapolis
The Bronx Bombers got a magnificent performance from pitcher Trent Harwood, who stifled the Minneapolis offense en route to a 3-1 Bombers win at The Ice Box. The winning pitcher was Harwood, now 2-10. He tossed 5 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 7 and fanning 3. The last-place Bombers improved to 41-65.

Andrew Switzer's at-bat in the top of the fifth was significant for the Bombers. Coming to the plate with the bases loaded and Bronx leading 1-0, the designated hitter drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Harwood said.
