Bhavsar Jayasurya had a good game, but he could not keep the Detroit Death Stars from falling, 6-5, to the Omaha Raptors at Anchorage Municipal Stadium. The Detroit second baseman went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk in the loss. Earning his 23rd save for Omaha was Jason Engel. Omaha is in last place in the Blake Camden League Youppi Division with a record of 44-61.
It could have been a different outcome for Omaha, had it not been for Greg England, the 26-year old right fielder . England contributed a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth inning to put Omaha up, 4-3.
"We found a way to get it done," England said.
