Wang Helps Mustangs Beat Death Stars
The Detroit Death Stars and Billings Mustangs brought some excitement to The Death Star.

Billings designated hitter Way-ming Wang made his presence felt in the 7-3 Mustangs triumph over the Detroit Death Stars. Wang was 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Robert McLaughlin, the winner, improved to 4-1. He held the Death Stars to 3 runs on 6 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 2.

An important at-bat for Billings came with two out in the top of the second. With the bases loaded, Wang hit a run-scoring single, which contributed to the Mustangs win.

In postgame comments to the Billings Citizen, Wang said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
