The Pasadena Bumblebees got a magnificent performance from pitcher Tae-geun Cho, who stifled the Bronx offense en route to a 3-1 Bumblebees win at The Hole. Cho went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 4. His record improves to 9-4. The last-place Bombers have lost 4 straight games.

A crucial at-bat came with the bases loaded and two out in the bottom of the third inning. That's when designated hitter Nadir Rizvi, who is tied for 8th in the BCL in RBI with 66, drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Bumblebees went on to win.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Bronx manager Ronnie Hampton.
