It was a good time at The Hole, where fans came to watch the Chicago Titans and Pasadena Bumblebees get after it.

Hidetada Abe was superb against Chicago. The left-hander, who is tied for 8th in the BCL in innings pitched with 115.0, had a change up that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a 7-3 Bumblebees victory. With the win, the Bumblebees improved to 58-40.

Abe, the Pasadena left-hander, went 7 innings, allowing 1 earned run on 2 hits. He collected 12 strikeouts.

"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Abe.
