The Joplin Fireballs wiggled past the Billings Mustangs, 6-5, at The Firepit. Joplin third baseman Chad Wright earned player of the game honors. Joplin reliever Balamitra Sriramesh picked up the win, upping his record to 5-5. Paco Berroa took the loss. Joplin has run its win streak to 5 in a row.

The game was all tied up in the bottom of the tenth, until Wright delivered big-time for Joplin, stroking a dramatic solo home run off Paco Berroa. The game-changing hit put the Fireballs on top, 6-5.

"Our guys just had that look of determination," said winning manager Nick Browning.
