|
Chicago third baseman Jason Corcoran was instrumental in his team's 8-4 win over the Detroit Death Stars. Corcoran went 1-4 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Titans. With the win, Chicago has a record of 41-50. Detroit falls to 58-33.
Corcoran contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Chicago in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 3-2, Corcoran took a curveball from Giobbe Tadiotto and stroked the home run to left. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Titans to leap in front, 6-3.
"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Corcoran.
