The Peoria Caterpillars had to overcome a big game from Vancouver center fielder Teruo Sato to leave The Cave at Barton Springs with a 5-4 victory. Sato went 3 for 3 with a home run and a double. Reliever Zhong Shi picked up the win. His record improves to 5-2. Joe Kenner took the loss. Peoria has run its win streak to 4 in a row.

James Cobbold was the walk-off hero for Peoria. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Peoria pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This place was rocking at the end," Cobbold said.
