The Omaha Raptors topped the Peoria Caterpillars by the score of 17-7, with the biggest share of the credit going to third baseman George McAuley. McAuley belted 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 7 for the Raptors on the day. Peoria has now lost 4 in a row.

McAuley had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 2-0 fastball from Kenny Allen, he banged a grand slam home run to left, giving the Raptors a 9-6 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for McAuley.
