A 3-RBI performance from Alonso Rosas, who is tied for 4th in the BCL in triples with 4, helped the Antioch Coal Miners beat the Vancouver Canadians, 9-7. Antioch reliever Manuel Sánchez got the win, raising his record to 3-4. Felipe Sánchez was tagged with the loss. Javier Galindo was called on to finish, recording his 4th save.

Had Kunimichi Fujii not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Fujii hit a 2-run single. That made the score 9-7, in favor of the Coal Miners.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Julián Flores.

Antioch is 44-46 and Vancouver, with the loss, 52-38.
