In a low-scoring clash between Antioch and Omaha, pitcher Garry Strode was a difference-maker. The right-hander earned player of the game honors for Antioch in the 3-2 win. Antioch reliever Javier Franco picked up the win, upping his record to 2-5. Graham Hardingham absorbed the loss. Javier Galindo sewed up the save, his 2nd.

In the bottom of the 8th, third baseman Ramón Vela gave Antioch the lead when he hit a 2-run single. The Coal Miners had been trailing 2-1, but the two-out single off Omaha pitcher António López changed that -- and Antioch went on to win.

"We put together a nice win," Strode said.

The last-place Raptors have dropped 4 straight games.
