|
A 5-RBI performance from Cheol-chung Ch'oe, who is tied for 2nd in the BCL in hits with 100, helped the Reno Raiders beat the Minneapolis Freeze, 9-6. Reno starter Guo-quiang Zhào was credited with the win after throwing 101 pitches over 6 innings. His record now stands at 6-7. The current losing streak for Minneapolis has reached 5 games.
Ch'oe contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the third. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was one at-bat among others that helped Reno get the win.
"Everyone's trying too hard," said losing manager Fernando Vargas. "If we learn to relax, we'll be fine."
