Nakashima Impressive in Astoria Win
|
The Astoria Argonauts got a magnificent performance from pitcher Senzo Nakashima, who muffled the Detroit offense en route to a tight 2-1 Argonauts win at The Death Star. Harsha Majoo recorded the save for Astoria, his 12th of the season. Astoria is now 40-40, while Detroit is 51-29.
The Death Stars had few good swings against Nakashima, the right-hander, who threw 102 pitches over 7 innings. He allowed just no runs on 3 hits.
