Fans at Cobb Field were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Billings Mustangs take on the Omaha Raptors.

The Billings Mustangs got a sterling performance from pitcher Takeshi Gato, but the Raptors still prevailed, 4-3. Gato was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 7 innings of 5-hit ball. Omaha reliever Jason Engel was the winner. His record is now 1-2. The losing pitcher was Paco Berroa.

Kol-in-sen Lu made it 4-3 in favor of Omaha when he delivered a solo home run. It came with no one out in the top of the tenth. The Raptors went on to win.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Lu.

Their 32-46 record puts the Raptors last in the Blake Camden League Youppi Division.
