Hudson Helps Canadians Beat Bumblebees
|
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 25-year old right fielder Scotty Hudson, the Vancouver Canadians stopped the Pasadena Bumblebees, 7-2. Ernesto Villegas earned the win to go to 6-3. He allowed no earned runs on 5 hits, with 3 walks and 6 strikeouts. With the win, Vancouver has a record of 42-32. Pasadena falls to 41-33.
Hudson contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was one of the critical at-bats that helped Vancouver get the win.
