Multi-HR Day for Eida as Bumblebees Overpower Canadians, 5-1
The exploits of designated hitter Tokuma Eida, who is tied for 9th in the BCL in home runs with 15, helped the Pasadena Bumblebees defeat the Vancouver Canadians, 5-1. Eida hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Vicente Valenzuela picked up the save, his 4th. Pasadena now has a 3-game win streak.

The game turned with one out in the top of the sixth when Eida, who leads the BCL with a 1.064 OPS, hit a 2-run home run. It propelled the Bumblebees into the lead, 3-1.

"I felt we were ready to go," said Pasadena manager Hervé Barthélémy. "Our pregame was pretty good."
