The Las Vegas Gamblers got a strong performance from pitcher Ze-dong Zhang, who stymied the Brooklyn offense en route to a 5-2 win at The Ballpark at Potomac Yard . Pedro Medina got the save, the 1st for him this season. The Black Knights, now 10-17, continue their poor start.

Ralph Blair came through for Las Vegas when he hit a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth. With the bases empty, he hit a first pitch fastball to left-center field, staking his team to a 2-1 lead.

"We did enough to win," said Zhang.
