Mora slugs 2 home runs, Leads Coal Miners to Win

The Antioch Coal Miners coasted to a win over the Detroit Death Stars, 10-3. Juan Mora had a good day at the plate for Antioch. He went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Garry Strode got the win, improving to 5-7. He held the Death Stars to 2 runs on 5 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 4. The third-place Coal Miners have won 4 in a row.
Alonso Rosas made an early impact for Antioch when he stroked his 46th hit of the season. The 2-run single, which came with two out in the bottom of the second, put the Coal Miners on top, 3-1.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Mora.
