Right Fielder Eida hits 2 home runs in Win
|
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 25-year old right fielder Tokuma Eida, the Pasadena Bumblebees stopped the Billings Mustangs, 5-2. Tae-geun Cho picked up the win, improving his season record to 5-3. He struck out 4 in 8 innings. Pasadena has 3 straight wins, Billings 3 straight losses.
Jaideva Veerender played a key role in the win for the Bumblebees. The catcher punched a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning. For the game, Veerender was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Eida told the Pasadena Bulletin.
