Bumblebees Come Back Late to Clip Mustangs
The Bumblebees took Billings pitcher Robert Howard's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Cobb Field. The final score was 4-3, Pasadena. Howard went 5.1 innings and allowed no earned runs, striking out 3. Hulusi Mumcu picked up the save for Pasadena, his 13th of the year. The Bumblebees go to 36-31, putting them 4th in the Blake Camden League Youppi Division.

Al Courtney's hit in the top of the ninth was a game-changer. With one out, he rapped a fastball from Davis Marés for a grand slam home run. It put Pasadena in front, 4-3.

"It was a solid team effort," said Courtney after the game.
